Doctor Who, The Walking Dead panels at MSG

New York Comic Con is growing. This year, the convention’s events will expand outside of the Jacob Javits Convention Center to include other NYC locales — most notably, Madison Square Garden. Throughout the convention this October, New York Comic Con will host a few big-name panels at MSG.

The MSG Comic-Con events will kick off on Friday, Oct. 7, with a block of BBC panels. First up will be a Doctor Who panel featuring star Peter Capaldi and the first convention appearance of his new co-star Pearl Mackie. Then there will also be a screening of the first episode of BBC America’s adaptation of Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency, followed by a panel with the cast and showrunner, as well as the first North American panel on upcoming Doctor Who spinoff Class.

On Saturday, Oct. 8, AMC will host a The Walking Dead panel, featuring the cast and producers discussing both the season 6 finale cliffhanger and the upcoming season 7.

New York Comic Con takes place Oct. 6-9.
