Fictional movie and TV countries

Genovia; Wakanda; Panem; Themyscira; Gilead. Just reading the names of these fictional countries evokes such vivid colors and textures that they nearly become real. Some are like a dream we'd love to visit over and over again, while others we're happy are fully fictional given the dark content of the stories in which they reside. Either way, each of these mythical lands has its own unique iconography that fascinates and makes us want to learn more about them.

We now present to you 14 fictional countries from TV, film, and beyond that have captured our imaginations over the years.
